Bio :
SID, punk rock pioneers of Bali, were born and bred in Kuta Rock City. The band is three chord attitude-heavy young men, by name: Bobby Kool, Eka Rock, Jrx.
The name ‘Superman is Dead’ started its’ evolution from Stone Temple Pilot’s “Superman Silvergun”. The name moved on to “Superman is Dead” cause they like the idea that there’s no such thing as a perfect person out there.
SID actually stumbl…ed together in ’95, drawn by their common love of Green Day and NOFX. Their influences soon extended to the punk ‘n roll genre a la Supersuckers, Living End and Social Distortion, and here they stay. They say what they wanna say, how they wanna say it. In your face, to say it precisely.
SID public image, self described, is “PunkRockaBali” (think raw energy of NOFX vs Social Distortion supersonically fueled with beer-soaked Balinese Rockabilly attitude).
History? SID produced their first three albums independently (the boys worked years of crappy night jobs), with fabulous, small scale independent labels 1997 “Case 15”, 1999 “Superman is Dead”, 2002 “Bad, Bad, Bad”(mini album, 6 tracks). In March 2003 SID finally signed with Sony-BMG Indonesia after extended negotiations regarding their right to sing the majority of their tracks in English and have full artistic rights over their ‘image’!! With that decision they single handedly became the first band from Bali to be invited to sign with a major recording label in Indonesia, the first band in their nation (to my knowledge) to be recording majority of songs in English, AND the first punk band in Indonesia to get the national exposure and promotion that working with a major label in a third world country provides. And so the history of Indonesian Punk Rock begins!
And as for the question that everyone wants to know.the infamous bomb in Bali happened about 75M from their home, hangout center, punk rock boutique, bar and rehearsal studio that is also Jrx’s house, in the heart of Kuta. After panel beating back the rolling doors of the studio, and shifting a little debris, rehearsals continued as usual. Yeah, they saw a lot, it sucked big time, but its’ not gonna stop ’em!
And where are they now? At the end of 2002, one of the more respectable music mags here cited SID as “The Next Big Thing” for 2003. With the release of their fourth album, “Kuta Rock City”, followed by major airplay nationally and in some countries overseas, coupled with the instant popularity of their newest filmclip. SID suddenly find themselves touring continuously throughout Indonesia. Last week they were in four major Indonesian cities, on three islands, in 7 days!
Sometimes playing for free at underground scene clubs, sometimes at street skate parties or alternative band festivals, at lots of universities, and even occasionally at “classy” venues who would have probably denied them entrance years ago! Which means more beers for all.
In 2003 SID even got a mention in Time Asia. They also won a few music awards. MTV Awards for Best New Artist 2003, AMI Awards for The Best New Artist 2003. Nominated again in AMI Awards 2007 for Best Rock Album. October 2007 they did an amazing Australian tour, 8 cities, 16 gigs, 33 days with their strong D.I.Y work ethic.
June – July 2009, Superman Is Dead held An American Tour, 16 Gigs in 16 cities. 11 gigs of them were the ‘Vans Warped Tour’ and the last 5 gigs were ‘From Bali With Rock’. They did a very hard work to succeed this excited tour, had crossed the big land from westcoast to eastcoast and got back to westcoast.
On 18 July 2010 for the first time, Indonesia Cutting Edge Music Awards (ICEMA) was held. ICEMA event award is dedicated to non-mainstream musicians. Since April, the nominees selected by voting which was held in www.icema.co.id. Superman Is Dead to be a musician with the most awards. They managed to won three trophies for the categories of Favorite Punk / Hardcore Song, Favorite Artwork from Album and Favorite Band Duo or Group
On 20 January 2011, Billboard introduced Uncharted, a weekly ranking of emerging artists who have yet to appear on a major Billboard chart but are mapping new territory in online fan engagement. At no 23 Superman is Dead scores their first Billboard chart showing after 15 years together and have amassed over 1.6 million Facebook fans worldwide.
SID had share stages with international bands such as International Noise Conspiracy, NOFX, MXPX, Hoobastank, The Vines and Wolfmother.
They remain proud, boys from the streets of Kuta with a love of punk rock, beers and a good time. Ready for whatever comes next, excited about the next gig.

Mighty Finger adalah boys band ugal-ugalan asal Kota Sukabumi, Jawa Barat. Dibentuk pada tanggal 1 Januari 2009 dengan susunan anggota yaitu; Wet (Lead Vocal, Keyboard Synth), Chan (Left Guitar, Vocal), Kiki (Right Guitar, Vocal), Deni (Bass, Vocal), Allen (Drum, Loop). Namun pada awal bulan Januari 2010, posisi bass digantikan oleh Dena yang menggantikan Deni (Bass, Vocal) dengan alasan mengundurkan diri karena suatu pekerjaan. Mighty Finger dalam arti bahasa Indonesia adalah Jari Perkasa. Filosofi Mighty Finger sendiri menuju pada semua jari tangan yang dimiliki oleh manusia, dengan 5 karakter jari yang berbeda-beda namun tetap memiliki fungsi yang saling melengkapi untuk membentuk suatu kekuatan. Dan bila diperumpamakan, anggota Mighty Finger adalah jari-jari tangan tersebut. Membentuk suatu kekuatan dengan harapan menjadi perkasa dalam menghadapi segala hal, dan tetap berdiri tegak dengan karya-karya yang mereka ciptakan.
Mighty Finger memulai karirnya sebagai boys band ugal-ugalan yang memainkan jenis musik pop punk sejak 1 Juni 2003 dengan nama awal Middle Finger. Dan sempat merilis 1 buah album penuh bertajuk Broken Heart Warriors pada bulan Agustus 2006 dibawah label rekaman mereka sendiri yaitu Sidik Jari Records. Serta sempat pula memeriahkan beberapa proyek album kompilasi seperti; Sukabumi Indie Star (Lavista Records, 2005), Sukabumi Eundeur (Head Banger Records, April 2008), Metal Vs Melodic (Left Behind Records, November 2008), Does This Look Like A Punk Compilation? (Eazy Records, Februari 2009).
Untuk album Broken Heart Warriors, album perdana tersebut berisikan 13 buah lagu (termasuk intro, outro, dan bonus track) dengan 3 single pendukungnya yaitu Tak Pernah Tahu, Sangat Aku Benci, Jati Diri. Album Broken Heart Warriors hanya diproduksi dalam bentuk kaset sebanyak 1000 kopi dan tidak pernah mereka perbanyak lagi, dimana 950 kopi kaset terjual habis dengan jalur pendistribusian yang tidak begitu luas yaitu hanya didaerah Sukabumi, Cianjur, Purwakarta, Tasikmalaya, Bandung, Denpasar, DKI Jakarta. Dan hanya didistribusikan melalui distro-distro, tangan ke tangan, dan acara-acara musik yang mereka singgahi. Sedangkan untuk audio visualnya mereka menerjunkan single pertama berjudul Tak Pernah Tahu sebagai video klipnya, dan sudah pernah tayang di TV lokal Jakarta, Bandung, Purwakarta, dan Sukabumi. Kebetulan video klip tersebut dikerjakan oleh teman-teman mereka dari Jakarta yaitu Punakawan Production.
Sebelum menuju akhir tahun 2006, mereka dinobatkan sebagai band indie terbaik Kota Sukabumi dalam ajang GAMMA Fest 3 Awards yang diadakan oleh organisasi musik sekolah milik siswa-siswi SMUN 3 Sukabumi, dan bekerjasama dengan pemerintah Kota Sukabumi dalam penyelenggaraannya. Setelah itu, mereka meluncurkan video footage clip dengan audio single kedua mereka berjudul Jati Diri pada akhir tahun 2006, dan hanya ditayangkan di TV lokal Sukabumi yaitu ATV pada awal tahun 2007. Video tersebut berisi beberapa potongan-potongan live video selama tahun 2006 sejak rilisnya album Broken Heart Warriors, dan dibuat oleh road manager sekaligus videographer mereka yaitu Usbeck (Electric Becks).
Setelah sempat vakum sejak pertengahan tahun 2007 sampai awal tahun 2008, mereka menggelar konsernya sendiri pada tanggal 8 Maret 2008 di bilangan Surade Kota, kabupaten Sukabumi. Dengan ratusan penonton yang sangat memadati tempat acara konser berlangsung, mereka membawakan 12 buah lagu yang diambil dari album pertamanya yaitu Broken Heart Warriors, dan 2 buah lagu baru yang sempat berkumandang di program indie beberapa stasiun radio Sukabumi.
Dan saat masih bernama Middle Finger, band ini sempat mengalami pergantian personil pada posisi drum dan bass yaitu; Eri (Drum) mengundurkan diri pada pertengahan tahun 2005, dan posisi drum digantikan oleh Allen. Kemudian disusul oleh Dena (Bass, Vocal) yang keluar pada tanggal 23 Agustus 2008, lalu digantikan oleh Deni. Namun Deni saat itu masih menjabat sebagai additional bass player hingga akhir bulan Desember 2008, sebelum akhirnya resmi menjadi anggota tetap band ini pada tanggal 1 Januari 2009, sekaligus pergantian nama menjadi Mighty Finger.
Sedangkan untuk konsep bermusik mereka mungkin agak berbeda sedikit dengan konsep yang dimainkannya saat masih bernama Middle Finger, dimana mereka pun masih mencoba meng-eksplor lebih luas lagi musiknya. Karena mereka memang penggemar dari semua jenis musik yang ada, selama itu berkualitas dan terporsi baik. Lirik-lirik yang mereka terjunkan kedalam materi-materi lagu mereka masih bercerita seputar isu-isu kehidupan yang ada disekitar mereka seperti; tikam menikam antar atau sesama, kehidupan yang penuh dilema, pencarian jati diri, mencoba bangkit dari keterpurukan, melawan detik kematian, persahabatan, percintaan, optimisme, dan lain-lain sebagainya.

Address Not Found was formed on August 8, 2008 stems from the idea of a group of energetic young people who like music that wing Pop Punk. We also intend to create or build a stream of pop punk band. Heavily influenced by other bands of that genre Pop Punk such as All Time Low, F.T.S.K, New Found Glory, Set Your Goals, NOFX and other.bands. Why this band’s name “ADDRESS NOT FOUND”? The answer is, when we’re in talks about this band, we will make a myspace account. However, the internet connection when it is disconnected, because it has not paid its bills. And we see the “ADDRESS NOT FOUND” on the screen.
After going through various musical developments especially in the city and performing in various musical events, ANF began trying to show the color of their own music. And after attending several compilation Pop Punk genre in Bandung, ANF eventually produce a mini album (EP) was released in July 2009 by Heat Records featuring 5 songs flagship.
At the end of 2010, we plan to make a full album. and we create a new single titled “Keraskan Langkah”. And in Bandung itself, the song single “Keraskan Langkah” ANF have been included in the request line some of the leading private radio in Bandung. ANF currently in the process of making a full album, which will launch in mid-2011.
The vision and mission is to make ANF own music as a living color that can act as a complement to the needs of human life, featuring music that can be accepted by all people and be able to entertain, especially among the young that many experience the dynamics of the times and displays the best performance for the listeners ANF both in the live stages as well as in works of music (song material) that Address Not Found generate.
